Portfolio Manager

Duration: 3+ month contract Initially

Location: Milwaukee, WI, Hybrid

Role Overview

The Portfolio Manager will manage multiple Corporate Technology projects and make sure they are aligned with business priorities.

The main focus will be on:

• Portfolio Management
• Budget Management & Forecasting
• Vendor Management
• Contracts & SOWs
• Procurement & Purchase Orders
• Governance & Reporting
• Stakeholder Management
• Risk Management

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage multiple technology projects/initiatives and ensure they are aligned with business goals.
2. Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting .
3. Handle vendors, contracts, SOWs, renewals, and vendor performance .
4. Manage purchase orders, invoice approvals, and procurement activities .
5. Act as the main point of contact for the Corporate Technology organization.
6. Communicate and coordinate with business stakeholders and leadership .
7. Support governance meetings, portfolio reviews, and executive reporting .
8. Track and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across projects.
9. Work closely with Technology, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and business teams .
10. Identify ways to improve portfolio processes and operational efficiency .

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, or a related field .
• 5+ years of experience in Portfolio Management, Program Management, Vendor Management, or IT Business Management.
• Strong experience with:
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Vendor & Contract Management
• SOW Management
• Procurement
• Purchase Orders
• Stakeholder Management
• Governance & Reporting
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills .
